Glamping tent
With a glamping tent, you can rediscover the joy of sleeping in a tent.
Did you enjoy sleeping in a tent as a child? Whether at a campsite or in the garden, a night in the tent can bring smiles and joy to most children.
It can be hard to evoke the same feelings today when you think about waking up in a small, damp tent, crawling out of your sleeping bag, getting dressed, and then sticking your hands into the wet grass as you crawl on all fours to put on your shoes.
We believe that this is at least one of the reasons why you are denying yourself the experience of waking up in the fresh air and listening to the birds' song as they welcome the day.
Whether you want to use your glamping tent as a bedroom for yourself, as a children's room for the little ones, as a guest room for your visitors, as an extension in your vacation home, as a family tent on your camping trip, or as a combination of all five options, we are confident that your experience with the glamping tent will be unforgettable.
The best glamping tent for you
Which glamping tent is the best is of course always subjective. However, we can 100% vouch for the quality, as can the many happy Amaroq Glamping customers we now have.
But the best glamping tent is also the one that suits your needs. Because how much space do I need? In this article you will learn more about which tent we would recommend for you.
Buy a glamping tent
When you buy your own glamping tent, you get countless nights in the great outdoors for what you would pay for three to four nights in a rented glamping tent.
So bring the luxury home and buy your own glamping tent.
Many people also use our glamping tents as a garden house, perfect for the holiday home or in the garden at home when inviting guests - as long as the guests are lucky enough that you are not staying in the tent yourself.
waterproof
Our glamping tents are waterproof, but there is no water column specification on our tent - how can this be explained?
You can read a detailed article about it here, or you can get the short explanation below.
The water repellency of glamping tents improves when the cotton from which the tent is made gets wet a few times. Therefore, a water column test is not a fair method to assess how waterproof a glamping tent is, because the water repellency improves after the test is conducted.
Breathable
Our glamping tents are not only waterproof and breathable, but also have a pleasant indoor climate, which you probably wouldn't associate with a tent.
Due to the cotton, the tent naturally has good breathability.
Cotton has proven itself as a tent canvas for centuries. Our glamping tents are an evolution of this tradition.
We have mixed polyester into our tent fabric, so you get the breathability of cotton and the durability and lighter weight of polyester.
8 good reasons
Did you know that the indoor climate in a glamping tent is very different from that in a nylon tent? And that it is also a more sustainable option?
You can find more about this in this article, where we give you 8 good reasons why you should have a glamping tent in your garden.
Accessories for Glamping Tents
Although our glamping tents are of the highest quality, nature is often relentless. Therefore, we recommend additionally purchasing a tent footprint (Footprint) and a rain cover.
The tent footprint protects the tent floor from moisture from the ground and extends the life of the floor.
Our rain cover is for anyone who doesn't want to worry about heavy downpours. Even the best glamping tent can leak slightly in heavy rain. In such cases, we recommend taking down the tent or covering it with a rain cover.
The awning and the inner tent offer additional luxury. The awning can be attached directly to the tent entrance or set up next to it with the supplied poles.
The inner tent provides privacy when multiple people are sleeping in the tent. This allows you to divide your tent into two separate sleeping areas.
Our half-moon carpets complete the appearance of your glamping tent while also offering light protection against the cold rising from the ground.
Care and Storage
Regular cleaning and care of your glamping tent can significantly extend its lifespan. Factors such as moisture, UV rays, and airborne particles from plants and mold spores can damage the tent fabric over time. However, with the right care, these effects can be significantly reduced.
A glamping tent is large, and thorough cleaning can be labor-intensive. It is helpful to remove visible stains and dirt immediately to prevent mold growth, as it can be difficult to remove later.
Regular cleaning is important but not sufficient on its own. At least once a year – ideally after the season – we recommend a thorough cleaning of the tent. Make sure the tent is completely dry before storing it.
After cleaning, you should treat the tent fabric with a suitable product that renews its water-repellent and breathable properties.
